Professional, Certified Toxic Mold Spore and
Mold Growth Sampling and Mold Testing Methods
Mold Testing Tips: You can inspect and toxic mold test your house,
condominium, apartment, office, rental property, or business property for
toxic mold contamination problems by your choice of two mold testing
options:
-
Professional physical inspection and toxic
mold spore and mold growth colony testing
by a
Mold Inspector.
If you need mold test results to help you win mold financial damages
from your homeowner's insurance company, real estate seller or home
builder [for undisclosed mold problems in a newly-purchased home],
contractor [for water and mold damage caused by negligence], landlord,
lender, or employer [mold infestation in your workplace],
you must have
CERTIFIED mold test results that combine the on-site professional
collection of mold samples by a
Certified
Mold Inspector
with
Certified Laboratory Analysis
by one of the most capable
mold laboratories [Mold Inspector Laboratory, Ltd].
Professional mold toxic inspection and testing is also the most certain
and likely way for you to uncover mold problems HIDDEN INSIDE walls,
ceilings, floors, attics, crawl spaces, and heating and air conditioning
equipment and ducts.
Certified
Mold Inspectors
are successful in finding hidden mold contamination because they are
able to use all of the appropriate mold testing methods such as careful
physical inspection, controlled air testing with mold culture plate
timed impactors, air cassettes, mold culture plates [air and hvac
testing], carpet samplers, clear Scotch tape lift samples of visible
mold, swab samples of visible mold, hidden moisture detectors,
hygrometer [measure humidity], and a fiber optics inspection system [to
look for mold inside wall, ceiling, and floor cavities].
Many of our inspectors charge as little as a $300 mold inspection fee
for a very thorough physical inspection of your home to locate mold
symptoms or evidence of mold infestation and of hidden water problems
that can cause mold growth colonies, plus $125 for each mold test
required to identify and quantify mold growth.

Solve your property
mold problems in the most effective, safe, and affordable way by

viable mold testing services, please visit:

Be sure that each and every sample is identified [on an adhesive
label] with your name, test location [e.g., "living room air sample"],
and the date that the sample was collected. Also,
please include your email address, dedicated fax number [if any],
and postal mailing address so that you can be notified of mold test
results approximately 7 to 10 days after the Lab's receipt of your
mold testing samples. Each of your submitted mold test samples will be
cultured for 5 to 7 days to maximize accurate identification of the
grown mold [viable testing, the only accurate way to identify mold
species]. Unlike many of our
mold lab competitors, we don't guess at the identity of mold by
failing to culture and to grow mold samples. For more information
please visit
Mold
Inspection.
You can safely collect your own mold test samples in the following ways
[but be sure to wear protective gear while mold testing. For more
information please read our webpage instructions located at Protective
Gear]:
-
Use 1"
wide, clear Scotch tape
[about 3 inches long] to press against visible mold, then peel off the
tape with its collected mold particles, and then stick the tape sample
to the inside wall of a small ziplock bag. For detailed mold testing
instructions on using this lift tape sampling method, please click:
Lift Tape Test.
-
Scrape
many mold particles
[but only from one
mold location per sample taken]
off of the mold contaminated surface
into either our Mold Test Kit
or into a small ziplock bag. For detailed info about our Mold Test Kits,
visit:
Mold Test Kit.

mold test services and fees by visiting:

-
Cut out a
small moldy piece from the mold contaminated surface
[e.g., a wall paper, drywall, wood, carpeting, etc.], and then put the
collected physical sample into a small ziplock bag. Learn our various
mold test services and fees by visiting:
Mold Testing Laboratory.
Important Note:
The
above three techniques are called "direct sampling" or "bulk sampling"
which is the best possible way to identify visible mold in your home or
other building. Because the deadly black toxic Stachybotrys mold spores
are rarely airborne (unless directly disturbed physically), direct
sampling may be the only way you will know if you have black toxic
Stachybotrys mold spores
in your home, condominium, apartment, office, or commercial building.

Sample the air
in your crawl space, basement, attic, and each room
of your home by
using our Mold Test Kits described at
Mold Test
Kit.
If you have a serious mold contamination problem, it is likely that
there will be concentrated levels of airborne mold spores in the air
of affected area or room. For instructions on how to sample indoor
air for mold, please visit
Test Instructions.
When submitting your mold test kits or other mold samples for
laboratory analysis, please complete and enclose with your samples
the
Chain of Custody that you can print out on your printer. For
details, please visit
Mold Identification.
